Sales Representative/ Delivery Person

A Delivery Person has the responsibility to ensure the safe, timely, and secure transportation of pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, clinics, and other healthcare unit. The ideal candidate will uphold high standards of professionalism and compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver pharmaceutical products as per assigned routes and schedules.
• verify and ensure accuracy of orders and delivery documentation (e.g., invoices, delivery notes, temperature of certain products).
• Maintain proper handling and storage of medicines during transport, ensuring cold chain compliance when required.
• Communicate with the Telemarketing department, administrative department, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Inspect vehicles before and after use to ensure safety and functionality.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Record delivery activities and report any issues, delays, or discrepancies.
• Handle urgent deliveries with priority and care.
• Maintain customer service standards by being professional, punctual, and courteous.
• Ensure that pharmacies remit the exact payment amount stated on each invoice.

• Verify that the total value of collected cash and cheques matches the corresponding invoices for the day.
• Accounting of previous deliveries on a daily basis
• Loading of the daily packing in vehicles
• Increase company sales based on prescribed monthly/yearly laid targets and commissions.
• Verifying return products well issued by clients.
• Loading and unloading of products as and when required by management.
• Deliveries in other points of sale, supermarket and Hypermarkets etc.
• Checking and placement of products on display on selves of the points of sale.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Form 4 or sc or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery experience, ideally in healthcare or pharmaceuticals, is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and good customer care.
• Physical stamina to load/unload goods and spend long hours on the road.
• Morality certificate
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• May involve long hours and weekend shifts.
• Required to lift packages up to [10] kg.
• Exposure to temperature-controlled environments.
• Required to wear appropriate Proper Protection Equipment.

The employee may be required to perform other related duties in addition to the above, depending on the operational requirements and workload of the company.
