Sales Associate

We are looking for a dynamic and customer‑focused Indoor Salesman to join our sales operations team. The role involves handling walk‑in clients, managing inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth coordination with stores and logistics. The ideal candidate will be persuasive, detail‑oriented, and committed to achieving sales targets while maintaining compliance and professionalism.  

As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth. Your primary responsibility will involve assisting customers with their needs, providing comprehensive product information, and processing orders efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

     Customer Interaction & Service

• • Greet and assist walk‑in customers with product information and quotations.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and in‑office inquiries promptly.
  • Provide after‑sales support and maintain strong client relationships.

  Sales Processing

  • Prepare invoices, delivery notes, and receipts accurately.
  • Ensure proper data entry in POS/ERP systems.
  • Verify stock availability before confirming orders.

  Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain daily sales logs and submit reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Track customer accounts, payments, and outstanding balances.

  Cross‑Department Coordination

  • Liaise with stores, logistics, and procurement for smooth order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with outdoor sales staff for client follow‑ups.
  • Support marketing campaigns by handling inquiries and promotions.

  Compliance & Documentation

  • Adhere to company policies and Workers’ Rights Act requirements.
  • Maintain audit‑ready records of transactions and client communications.
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer data.

  Operational Discipline

• Respect working hours, punctuality, and attendance rules.
• Uphold ethical sales practices (no misrepresentation of products).
• Participate in training sessions to improve product and system knowledge.

• Key Requirements
• Preferred: Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
• Strong communication skills (English, French).
• • Customer service orientation and persuasive ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/POS systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• • Minimum 5 years in sales or customer service.
  • Prior experience in indoor sales or retail operations preferred.
• Knowledge Plumbing products & accessories will be an advantage.
