Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and pick up goods, materials and spare parts from local suppliers as required
  2. Ensure the proper upkeep, cleanliness and good running condition of assigned company vehicles
  3. Conduct regular checks on fuel levels and ensure timely refuelling of vehicles
  4. Immediately report any vehicle defects, abnormalities, damage or maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Coordinator/Manager
  5. Comply with all company road safety, Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and vehicle operating procedures
  6. Follow the work planning and instructions provided by the Maintenance Coordinator/Manager 
  7. Maintain good housekeeping and personal hygiene standards
  8. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator/ Manager to support the smooth operation of the Maintenance Department

Qualifications:

  1. Holder of a valid driving licence (Manual)
  2. Basic knowledge of vehicle checks, upkeep and minor maintenance requirements
  3. Good knowledge of road safety and Health & Safety practices
  4. Reliable, punctual, responsible and safety conscious
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
