Site Supervisor (Finishing)

In this full-time position, you will oversee finishing works on various construction projects, ensuring that they meet our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will guide a team of skilled laborers, subcontractors, and tradespeople, creating a productive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all rendering finishing activities, ensuring work is completed to specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop schedules and budgets while maintaining project timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
• To distribute work to subordinates and prepare labour allocation sheets on a daily basis.
• To ensure that the programme of works given by the Site Engineer/Site Manager/Chief Supervisor is implemented and followed on a day-to-day basis.
• To follow detailed weekly programme of the works and take necessary measures to ensure progress does not fall behind programme.
• To request information sufficiently in advance to avoid disruptions and delays.
• To anticipate potential construction problems and initiate preventive attention/action
• To comply with the company’s Quality Assurance policy implemented
• To monitor quality of the works for all activities assigned on site from the start – including own labour, labour only, domestic, nominated, selected and direct subcontractors.
• To ensure that all checklists are correctly filled in conjunction with Site Agent/Senior Chief Supervisor – Own Snagging.
• To strive to get all activities executed right first time.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Secondary Certificate (SC) and have proven experience in a supervising role within the construction industry.
