Lab Assistant(Yep Scheme)

Are you passionate about testing, analyzing and making a positive impact in the workplace? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our laboratory team on a YEP Scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
• Accurately record, verify, and maintain laboratory test results and documentation.
• Support quality assurance activities by monitoring product conformity, identifying quality concerns, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with audit preparations by ensuring records and documentation are complete, accurate, and traceable.
• Conduct routine laboratory equipment checks, support calibration activities, and monitor laboratory consumables and resources.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs, quality management systems, and safety requirements.
• Report non-conformities or out-of-specification results promptly and assist in investigations where required.
• Participate in training and development programmes to enhance technical knowledge and laboratory best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, biology, Environmental Science or any related scientific disciplines.
• Prior laboratory exposure or internship is an advantage.
