Job Profile

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Engineer – Electrical who shall be involved in developing accurate cost estimates based on drawings, BoQs, specifications, and other tender documents and ensuring that their estimations are both competitive and realistic for electrical projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

•  Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, quotations and tender submissions for electrical and MEP projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and tender documents to determine project scope, requirements and costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to obtain accurate technical information and competitive pricing.
• Lead the preparation and timely submission of electrical and MEP tenders, including tender clarifications, exclusions and commercial qualifications.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits and tender clarification meetings, and follow up with clients and consultants on submitted tenders and revised offers.
• Manage and coordinate assigned electrical projects, ensuring compliance with approved budgets, schedules, specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure effective project execution.
• Coordinate procurement, material requirements, subcontractors and service providers to support timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, costs, labour and resources, and provide technical and commercial input for variations, claims and contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate tender, quotation and project records in the ERP system, including tender registers, supplier quotations, follow-up reports and relevant project documentation.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor Degree in Engineering. 
• Minimum 5-8 years of previous working experience in a similar environment.
