Head Waiter

Job Description

We are looking for a professional, experienced, and guest-focused Head Waiter to supervise our service team and ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

This position is open to both male and female candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate waiters during service.
  • Allocate tables and service sections to the team.
  • Ensure correct table setup and readiness before service.
  • Monitor order taking, serving sequence and service timing.
  • Ensure food and beverages are served according to standards.
  • Welcome guests and assist with special requests.
  • Handle first-level guest concerns during service.
  • Coordinate closely with the Kitchen and Bar.
  • Guide and coach waiters on proper service techniques.
  • Ensure service stations are clean, organised and fully stocked.
  • Report service issues to the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager.

  Requirements

  • Experience as a Head Waiter or Senior Waiter.
  • Strong knowledge of table and restaurant service.
  • Excellent guest-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and guide a service team.
  • Professional appearance and attention to detail.
  • Good command of English and French.
