Restaurant Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth and efficient service
• Coordinate effectively between the Kitchen, Bar, and Service teams
• Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and overall dining experience
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally
• Lead, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff across all functions
• Allocate duties, manage shifts, and ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members
• Monitor labour, food, beverage, and operational costs
• Drive revenue through effective sales and upselling initiatives
• Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and revenue control procedures
• Oversee stock management, ordering, inventory control, and waste reduction
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and health & safety standards
• Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
• Prepare and submit operational, sales, staffing, and incident reports to Management
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operations
• Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to enhance customer engagement

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar management role
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and food & beverage service
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good understanding of cost control, stock management, and revenue procedures
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting is an advantage
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, or high-volume restaurants is an advantage
• Fluency in English and French is an advantage
