Service Advisor - Trucks

Join the DSD team at ABC Motors Company Ltd and play a key role in ensuring our commercial vehicle customers receive professional, efficient and reliable after-sales service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer appointments, vehicle reception and walk-around inspections.
• Open and manage Repair Orders (ROs) and prepare quotations.
• Liaise with workshop teams to monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Keep customers informed of repair status, additional work, costs and delivery timelines.
• Ensure accurate job cards, invoicing and DMS records.
• Conduct vehicle handovers and explain completed repairs and charges to customers.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and ensure timely follow-up.
• Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) and follow up on pending jobs, parts and subcontracted work.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service history.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial vehicle customers.
• Ensure an excellent customer experience in line with Company procedures and standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• SC/HSC or a Diploma in Automotive, Sales, Customer Service or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in the truck/heavy commercial vehicle sector.
• Good technical and automotive knowledge, particularly of trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate; DMS experience will be an advantage.
• A valid and clean driving licence
• Customer-focused, proactive and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work closely with workshop teams and manage multiple customer requirements.
