Land Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain control stations from the Client's land surveyor prior to the commencement of works
• Survey, check, and measure all control stations for accuracy, ensuring they fall within acceptable tolerances
• Ensure all control stations are securely fixed on site and properly maintained throughout the duration of the project
•     Implement survey data onto CAD drawings (or Civil 3D/Covadis, as appropriate)
•     Define the methodology for setting out, based on construction information supplied for the project
•     Ensure sign-off sheets are completed at defined intervals or upon reaching defined project stages
•     Ensure all surveying equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and stored
•     Promote and ensure quality awareness from the outset of the project
•     Review the site establishment drawing issued with the tender submission against site constraints
•     Ensure all permanent works are checked and verified by MS personnel prior to requesting Consultant inspection
•     Confirm all internal inspections are completed and satisfactory before calling for Consultant inspections
•     Carry out inspections jointly with Consultants and identify and record any items flagged as defects

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc in Land Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience acquired, preferably in a contracting environment

• Quick response for resolving operational issues
• Self-organised and flexible on working hours
