Job Description

At PrideBet, we create engaging online gaming experiences across multiple African markets. Our Creative team brings these experiences to life through consistent, eye-catching visuals across digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and physical brand spaces.

We are looking for Junior Graphic Designers with strong design fundamentals, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Working under the guidance of the Design Manager and senior designers, you will support the production of day-to-day creatives and campaign materials across our brands and markets.

This is a hands-on role suited to an early-career designer who enjoys creating, responds positively to feedback, and wants to grow within a professional design team.

Responsibilities

  • Create visuals for social media, website banners, promotions, and marketing campaigns based on approved briefs and creative direction.
  • Adapt approved artwork into different sizes, formats, and language versions while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Support the preparation of print materials for outdoor advertising, events, retail branding, and promotional activities.
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently, paying close attention to typography, colour, layout, and imagery.
  • Check artwork for accuracy, including supplied copy, promotional details, dimensions, and platform safe areas, before submitting it for review.
  • Prepare production-ready files with guidance, using the correct export settings and keeping design files organised.
  • Manage assigned tasks, communicate progress, and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Apply feedback accurately and flag unclear instructions, missing assets, or potential delays early.
  • Collaborate with the wider Creative team to support ongoing projects and campaign rollouts.

Requirements

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships or freelance work. Recent graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome.
  • A portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals through academic, personal, or professional projects.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A good understanding of layout, typography, colour, visual hierarchy, and composition.
  • Basic understanding of file formats and artwork preparation for digital and print use.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
  • Ability to follow a brief, work within brand guidelines, and apply feedback with care.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks against agreed deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, or video editing.
  • Familiarity with Figma and designing for web layouts.
  • Interest in digital entertainment or online gaming.

What We Value

  • Attention to detail: You check your work and care about getting the small things right.
  • Willingness to learn: You ask questions, welcome feedback, and put it into practice.
  • Accountability: You take responsibility for your tasks and communicate early when you need support.
  • Teamwork: You collaborate respectfully and contribute to shared deadlines.
  • Initiative: You take ownership of assigned work while knowing when to seek guidance.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV and portfolio. Your portfolio can include student work, personal projects, freelance assignments, or professional work. For group projects, clearly indicate your contribution.
