Multi-Outlet Supervisor (Cafe)

Our client is an established coffee and bakery brand operating multiple retail outlets across Mauritius.

They are looking for an experienced Area Supervisor – Retail Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of several outlets in the West of Mauritius.

The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent operational standards across all assigned stores, supporting and supervising store teams, monitoring sales and stock performance, and ensuring an excellent customer experience across the outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Store Operations

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple outlets within the West region.
• Ensure all stores operate efficiently and consistently according to company standards.
• Conduct regular visits to assigned outlets and identify operational issues or areas for improvement.
• Ensure stores are properly staffed, organised and ready for daily operations.
• Monitor compliance with operational, hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.

Team Management

• Supervise and support Store Managers, Supervisors and/or shop teams across the assigned outlets.
• Assist with staff scheduling, manpower planning and shift organisation.
• Monitor employee performance and provide regular coaching and guidance.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees.
• Promote teamwork, discipline and a positive service culture.
• Address operational or employee-related issues promptly and escalate where necessary.

Sales & Performance

• Monitor daily and monthly sales performance across the outlets.
• Follow up on sales targets and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Analyse store performance and provide feedback to management.
• Support initiatives aimed at increasing sales, customer retention and average transaction value.
• Monitor key operational and commercial KPIs.

Stock & Inventory

• Monitor stock levels across all assigned outlets.
• Ensure appropriate ordering and replenishment of products and ingredients.
• Minimise wastage, stock discrepancies and product losses.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and storage procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding stock availability and requirements.

Requirements:

• Excellent  French and English
• Minimum 5 years of leadership / supervisory experience.

• Proven experience managing multiple outlets, teams or locations.
• Mandatory experience within hotels, luxury cafés, premium restaurants or high-end F&B environments.
• Strong understanding of hospitality and F&B operations, including service standards and customer experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience monitoring sales, costs, stock and operational KPIs.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between outlets across the West of Mauritius.
