Duty Manager - Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury

Main responsibilities: 

•  Represent Hotel Management during the assigned shift. 
• Ensure the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the hotel. 
• Maintain a visible presence and champion the guest experience. 
• Handle guest concerns and coordinate effective service recovery. 
• Conduct hotel inspections and uphold luxury service standards. 
• Coordinate with departments and resolve operational issues promptly. 
• Oversee VIP arrivals, special requests and important events. 
• Manage emergencies and ensure compliance with safety procedures. 
• Support and guide artisans during operations. 
• Record incidents and ensure clear reporting, handover and follow-up.   

 Qualifications and profile:

•  Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years' of supervisory or managerial experience in a luxury hotel. 
• Previous experience within the hospitality industry will be a distinct advantage. 
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest-service standards. 
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrate ability to supervise teams, facilitate change, build strong business partnerships and deliver results in a dynamic environment. 
• Guest-focused, professional and solution-oriented. 
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are advantageous. 
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
