Job Description
Our client in the retail sector is seeking to recruit an Assistant Stock and Production Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Physical inventory at Head office for the company's products.
- Physical inventory at 23 stores on a continuous basis.
- Reporting in writing to supervisor regarding the physical counts.
- Inputting inventory adjustments on stock software.
- Analysis of reports output of stock software.
- Transfer of goods between manufacturing and retail company : to check completeness and accuracy of goods received by the company (goods received note).
- Daily control on production (ingredients content; usage and investigation of variances where appropriate).
Profile:
- Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management; Logistics and Operations Management.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in Stock control and inventory management
- Demonstrate experience of stock management and physical counts.
- Clear understanding of stock software.
- Intermediate level on Excel which can be demonstrated.
- Disciplined person who is thorough and keeps evidence of work done.
- Investigative and critical eyes on processes, findings in warehouses and stores.
- Strict on presence at opening and flexibility if required when performing counts in locations outside Port Louis.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
