Farm Worker - ER Agri Limited

We are looking for a Farm Worker to support the day-to-day farming operations. The role involves carrying out general farm activities, maintaining the farm and surrounding areas and supporting the team with various agricultural tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day farming and agricultural activities.
• Assist with planting, harvesting, watering and general crop maintenance.
• Carry out general farm maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with weed and pest control activities.
• Assist with fertilisation activities
• Maintain fields, pastures and surrounding areas.
• Assist with management of livestock herd:

       - Assist with livestock manipulation.

       - Assist with feeding and caring for livestock, where required.

       - Assist with animal treatment, when required.

• Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and well maintained.
• Maintain fences and other infrastructure in top condition.
• Assist with loading, unloading and handling of farm materials and equipment.
• Follow health, safety and operational procedures.
• Perform other farming and general duties as required.

Profile & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of farming and general agricultural practices.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and perform different farming tasks.
• Good work ethic, reliability and commitment.
• Diligent and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in farming or agricultural work will be an advantage.
