About the Role

The Technical Lead provides technical leadership across software development projects, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. The role works closely with developers, QA engineers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to guide technical delivery and resolve complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to software development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design and oversee scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Angular.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs, solutions, and development tasks.
• Lead the development of applications, APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Review and contribute to application architecture, technical designs, coding standards, and development practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, development guidelines, security principles, and best practices.
• Guide developers in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Coordinate with QA engineers to ensure effective testing, defect resolution, and overall software quality.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to provide technical estimates, identify dependencies, assess risks, and support project planning.
• Provide technical guidance on system integrations, APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Ensure applications are designed with appropriate performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability considerations.
• Support CI/CD practices, source control, build, and deployment processes.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and support developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous technical improvement.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, technical discussions, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement where applicable.
• Support production issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution of technical incidents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes, architecture, coding standards, and engineering practices.
• Ensure technical deliverables align with applicable security, governance, compliance, and quality requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in software development, with experience in a technical leadership or senior development role.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong experience developing web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL queries, database design, and performance considerations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Experience with Git-based source control and modern software development practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes is an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures is an advantage.
• Experience with application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Experience mentoring developers and providing technical guidance within a development team.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, Agile, or software architecture are an advantage.
