Job Description
Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to drive talent management, organisational development and succession planning across APTIS Group, lead the operational delivery of the Group's culture, employee experience and wellbeing agenda, and build the capability of the L&D Specialist to deliver learning and leadership development programmes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the Group's talent management framework, including performance-linked talent reviews and succession planning for critical roles across Business Units.
- Lead organisational development initiatives (structure design, capability building, change management) in partnership with Business Unit leadership.
- Own and drive the operational delivery of the Group's culture and employee experience agenda (surveys, initiatives, communications).
- Lead Group-wide wellbeing programmes and initiatives.
- Manage and develop the L&D Specialist, ensuring learning and leadership development programmes align with talent and OD priorities.
- Partner with Business Unit HR teams to identify talent gaps, high-potential employees and development needs.
- Support the Group HR Manager in shaping employer brand messaging from an internal talent and culture perspective.
- Track and report on talent, OD, culture and wellbeing metrics to the Group HR Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years in HR, talent management or OD roles, with some people management experience.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and Mauritius labour legislation.
- Project management skills.
- Talent management and L&D.
Behavioural Compentencies:
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Able to work autonomously and drive initiatives without direct line authority.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical and structured thinker.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
