Job Profile

We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Supervisor (Foreign) who will review, compare and analyze products to be purchased to ensure cost-efficiency and high quality. The job incumbent will oversee the supply chain to ensure required resources are identified and maintained.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Request for quotation from different suppliers & comparison of prices.
• Negotiate with suppliers for better prices and terms of payments.
• Negotiate rates and terms with transportation providers (trucks, ocean carriers, and air freight providers).
• Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
• Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
• Ensure that orders are prepared in a timely manner and are within budget.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain & Logistics.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

• Excellent knowledge of procurement procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Very good knowledge of M&E tools / tools management.
• Comprehensive understanding of products and product trends.
• Good verbal and written communication in both English and French. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proper communication of daily planning and record progress.
• Proficiency in managing inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
