Job Description

Services Consultant Associate, DFTA (Bilingual)

About the Role

We are looking for a bilingual Services Consultant Associate to help customers successfully implement and optimize Dayforce solutions. Working directly with customers, you will understand their business and workforce management requirements, translate those needs into practical system solutions, and guide them through configuration, testing, and implementation.

This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology, and helping customers find better ways of working. You will manage responsibilities across multiple customer projects while partnering closely with project teams and other Dayforce stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, customer-focused, and comfortable learning complex technology. You ask good questions, look beyond the immediate request to understand the underlying need, and take ownership of finding the right path forward.

What You Will Do

  • Lead consulting and discovery sessions to understand and document customer business requirements.
  • Translate customer requirements into effective Dayforce solutions, with a focus on Workforce Management and related core functionality.
  • Provide customers with guidance and best practices while balancing their business needs with Dayforce capabilities.
  • Configure, test, validate, and support the implementation of customer solutions.
  • Facilitate customer workshops and clearly communicate recommendations, decisions, risks, and next steps.
  • Identify issues, investigate root causes, and use sound judgment to recommend practical solutions.
  • Manage activities and deliverables across multiple customer projects while meeting project commitments and timelines.
  • Work closely with Project Sponsors and other internal stakeholders to identify dependencies, manage risks, and support successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate project, time, and customer documentation.
  • Keep current on new Dayforce releases and functionality and apply that knowledge to customer solutions.
  • Share knowledge, customer insights, and opportunities to improve our implementation practices and customer experience.

What Success Looks Like

  • Customers receive solutions that reflect their business requirements and make effective use of Dayforce capabilities.
  • Requirements, configurations, testing, and project documentation are completed accurately and with a high level of quality.
  • Risks, gaps, and potential issues are identified early rather than waiting for them to become problems.
  • Customers receive clear, confident guidance and understand the decisions and actions required throughout the project.
  • Multiple projects and priorities are managed effectively, with commitments followed through to completion.
  • Strong relationships are built with customers and internal project teams.
  • Product knowledge continues to grow as Dayforce functionality evolves.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bilingual fluency in English and French, written and spoken, is required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex requirements and identify practical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to investigate issues beyond the obvious answer.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate customer discussions, workshops, and working sessions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, projects, and competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for commitments and customer outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and adapting as products, processes, and customer needs evolve.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams and other stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Experience & Education

  • 1–2+ years of experience in software consulting, implementation, workforce management, HR technology, or a related customer-facing technology role.
  • Experience working with SaaS or cloud-based business software is preferred.
  • Experience with Workforce Management software, employee data integrations, or related HR technology is preferred.
  • Previous functional experience with Dayforce WFM, Payroll, Benefits, or other Dayforce modules is an asset.
  • Experience working with North American customers or vendors is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Key Behaviours We Value

  • Customer-focused: Takes the time to understand what the customer is trying to achieve and cares about delivering a successful outcome.
  • Analytical and curious: Asks thoughtful questions, investigates problems, and looks for root causes rather than simply addressing symptoms.
  • Proactive: Anticipates needs, risks, and next steps rather than waiting to be directed.
  • Accountable: Takes ownership of commitments, follows through, and maintains a high standard of quality.
  • Adaptable: Learns new technology and processes quickly and is comfortable working in an evolving environment.
  • Consultative: Builds credibility with customers and can confidently recommend an approach rather than simply taking an order.
  • Collaborative: Shares knowledge, works effectively across teams, and contributes to the success of the broader group.
  • Growth-oriented: Actively builds product and consulting expertise and looks for opportunities to improve how we work.
