Chemtech Group operates across medical technology, consumer goods, and technical supplies in Mauritius, Madagascar, and Seychelles. We are looking to strengthen our accounts and finance team.

Two positions are open: Account Executive and Finance Executive. The level will be matched to the candidate's experience.

The role

Day-to-day accounting and finance operations: maintaining the books, processing and reconciling transactions, receivables and payables, VAT and statutory filings, month-end closing, and audit support. Depending on the position, the role also contributes to reporting, analysis, and process improvement.

We expect our finance people to understand how the business operates, to ask why the numbers look the way they do, and to work with operations and sales to get things right at source.

Requirements

Graduate in Finance and Accounting, with a minimum of two years' working experience in an accounting or finance role. ACCA or equivalent, whether completed or in progress, is an advantage but not a requirement. Accuracy, attention to detail, sound Excel and accounting systems knowledge, and clear communication in English and French.
