Accounts Officer

We are looking for a dynamic candidate, freshly graduated or mid-level professional to join our growing team as Accounts Officer, handling mainly receivables and payables accounting.

The ideal candidate will have to be outgoing, organized, responsible and very good at attention to details.

Duties & Responsibilities:   

• Maintain, update, and reconcile daily financial records, including journals, ledgers.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Input invoices on QuickBooks    
• Ensure timely payments to suppliers   
• Perform day-to-day account receivable and payable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements with financial records and posted monthly 
• Assist in budget planning and preparation   

• Tax Compliance and Reporting
• Assist in preparing and filling of monthly returns of TDS, VAT and other statutory returns  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Accounting at Higher School Certificate level
• ACCA level 1 Started/ completed
• At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Knowledge in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to use QuickBooks software.
