Weighbridge and Operation Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Weighbridge operations for all incoming and outgoing trucks and containers carrying raw materials and products
• Maintain accurate and timely records of weighbridge activities, receipts, deliveries and transfers, to ensure proper processing and updating on our system
• Monitor all vehicle loads to ensure compliance with registered Maximum Gross Weight (MGW) requirements
• Coordinate with the concerned Teams on raw material transfers and deliveries, and monitor vehicle movements via GPS to ensure adherence to designated routes
• Monitor and reconcile receipt and delivery of Raw Materials at the production sites, including supplies received from external providers
• Record and follow-on Raw Materials stock levels and ensure timely and accurate updates in the relevant systems
• Maintain the Weighbridge and surrounding areas in accordance with established housekeeping standards and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety requirements, procedures and Company standards

Qualification and Profile:

• Minimum of High School Certificate
• A diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field would be an advantage
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to use an ERP system such as Microsoft D365
• Good organisational and record-keeping ability, and high attention to details
• Integrity and reliability are vital
• Able to work both in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
