Health & Safety Officer

Health and Safety Officer – Full-Time | Permanent

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Health and Safety Officer who is eager to grow and make a lasting, positive impact on our company's safety culture, playing a key role in driving safety initiatives across all our business units.

Your Role:

• Establish and maintain an effective Health, Safety and Environmental management system for the group
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and investigate accidents to ensure compliance and improve safety practices
• Write and manage safety reports, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met
• Help develop and implement preventive safety measures and health protocols across all business units
• Carry out safety and health awareness programs, train staff, and promote best practices
• Maintain statutory compliance records and ensure documentation meets legal requirements
• Manage dormitories, including permits, to ensure safe, healthy, and compliant conditions

What We're Looking For:

• A Diploma or BSc in Health & Safety from a recognized tertiary institution
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices; 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is a plus, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with health and safety legislation and industry standards
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work outside standard hours when necessary
• A valid driving license is required; own vehicle is an advantage
