Health and Safety Officer – Full-Time | Permanent
At Exotic Group, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for every member of our team. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Health and Safety Officer who is eager to grow and make a lasting, positive impact on our company's safety culture, playing a key role in driving safety initiatives across all our business units.
Your Role:
- Establish and maintain an effective Health, Safety and Environmental management system for the group
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and investigate accidents to ensure compliance and improve safety practices
- Write and manage safety reports, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met
- Help develop and implement preventive safety measures and health protocols across all business units
- Carry out safety and health awareness programs, train staff, and promote best practices
- Maintain statutory compliance records and ensure documentation meets legal requirements
- Manage dormitories, including permits, to ensure safe, healthy, and compliant conditions
What We're Looking For:
- A Diploma or BSc in Health & Safety from a recognized tertiary institution
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices; 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is a plus, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with health and safety legislation and industry standards
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work outside standard hours when necessary
- A valid driving license is required; own vehicle is an advantage
