Job Description
Overview of the Role:
The Data Entry Assistant must provide dedicated data entry and data cleaning support to the Procurement department on two specific workstreams: cleaning the existing product list in WinHMS, and supporting data input during the implementation of the new ERP.
-This is a 3-month contract position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Data Cleaning – Winhms
- Perform data cleaning of the existing product list in WinHMS: clean duplicates, inconsistencies and missing fields, and standardize entries according to the format and rules defined by Supervisor.
- Flag any data anomalies, gaps or inconsistencies encountered during cleaning to the Procurement Analyst for review and decision.
- Data Entry – New ERP Implementation
- Execute data entry tasks during the new ERP implementation, including the input and migration of product and supplier master data, following templates and validation rules provided by the Procurement team.
- Flag any data anomalies, gaps or inconsistencies encountered during migration to the Procurement Analyst for review and decision.
- Produce simple progress trackers (e.g. records cleaned, records migrated, exceptions pending) to support the Head of Procurement & Procurement & Supply Chain Manager in monitoring the workstream.
- Carry out any related administrative or data entry tasks assigned by Superior in support of the ERP transition.
- Sustainability & Compliance
- Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units.
- Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society.
Candidate's Profile:
- HSC / School Certificate or equivalent (essential).
- A certificate or diploma in administration, office management or a related field would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a data entry, clerical or administrative role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written communication in English & French, both written and spoken
