AutoCAD Designer – Retail Industry

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D shop layouts using AutoCAD.
• Design floor plans for new stores, renovations and shop reorganisation.
• Prepare layouts for shelves, gondolas, counters, display units and other fixtures.
• Ensure proper use of retail space and compliance with company requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings for contractors and suppliers.
• Take site measurements and update drawings accordingly.
• Modify existing layouts based on operational and merchandising requirements.
• Coordinate with Retail, Operations, Maintenance and Merchandising teams.
• Maintain and update the company's store layout and drawing database.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of new stores and refurbishment projects.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in retail design, shopfitting, interior design or space planning would be an advantage.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on several projects and meet deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills
