Draughtsman - (2638-DM)

Our client is seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Draughtsman to join their Office Furniture department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical shop drawings for a wide range of bespoke and production furniture pieces. The candidate will report to the Head of Office Furniture.

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software/ SketchUp .
• Producing accurate technical drawings from sketches and design concepts.
• Collaborating with designers and production teams to ensure designs are feasible to manufacture.
• Maintaining accurate drawing records and files.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practice.

Profile:

• Diploma in Draughtsmanship/ Interior Design/AutoCad.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the wooden furniture industry.
• Proficiency in operating CAD software.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and meet tight deadline.
