Job Description

Are you looking to gain practical experience in business financing, customer engagement, and relationship management? Join our SME team as an Intern - SME on a 6-month fixed-term contract and develop valuable skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

In this role, you will work closely with Business Development Executives and the SME team, assisting with financing applications, customer documentation, data management, and administrative activities. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Support the SME team in the processing and follow-up of financing applications.
  • Assist Business Development Executives (BDEs) with the preparation of loan, credit card, leasing, and factoring application documentation.
  • Review application files to ensure all required documents are complete and in line with KYC requirements and internal checklists.
  • Follow up with customers and stakeholders to obtain outstanding information and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and application data in relevant systems.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings on behalf of Business Development Executives.
  • Support outbound calling activities to engage with customers and facilitate application processing.
  • Participate in business events, open days, and networking activities when required.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualification.
  • No previous work experience is required.
  • Academic projects, volunteer work, extracurricular activities, or prior internship experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
