About the Role

The Dynamics CRM Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This role works closely with business analysts, functional consultants, developers, project teams, and clients to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality CRM solutions.

The Dynamics CRM Technical Consultant plays a key role in customizing and extending Dynamics 365, developing integrations, supporting data migration, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring solutions follow Microsoft best practices and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM applications based on business requirements.
  • Develop customizations using JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET, and Power Platform technologies where required.
  • Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflow activities, custom APIs, and business logic within Dynamics 365.
  • Configure Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, business rules, views, forms, dashboards, and security roles.
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions to automate business processes.
  • Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems using APIs, web services, Azure services, and integration platforms.
  • Perform data migration, data transformation, and data validation activities using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Develop and consume REST APIs and work with Dynamics 365 Web API and Dataverse APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, developers, project managers, and clients throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support deployment activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
  • Manage solutions, components, dependencies, and environment configurations across Dynamics 365 environments.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, deployment guides, and support documentation.
  • Ensure solutions follow Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, security, performance, and development best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of CRM solutions, development standards, and technical processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 development or technical consulting.
  • Proven experience in developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and Dynamics 365 architecture.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service is an advantage.
  • Experience developing plugins, custom workflows, custom APIs, and other Dynamics 365 extensions.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with Dynamics 365 client-side customization.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, and Visual Studio/.NET development environments.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Experience working with Dynamics 365 Web API, REST APIs, OData, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database
