Job Description
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for supporting and implementing MauBank’s marketing, communication, branding, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community engagement initiatives. The role will contribute to strengthening the Bank’s brand presence, promoting its products and services, coordinating marketing campaigns and events, managing promotional activities, and supporting CSR and sponsorship programs. The Marketing Officer will also work closely with internal departments, external partners and service providers to ensure the effective delivery of marketing and communication activities in line with the Bank’s objectives and corporate identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key responsibilities are not limited to the following:
- Assist in the development and implementation of a Corporate Social Responsibility Programme aligned with the Bank’s objectives.
- Coordinate and support marketing & branding initiatives, including community projects and sponsorship activities.
- Assist in organising and coordinating corporate events, customer activities, product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Support the development of communication materials, promotional content, presentations and corporate communications.
- Assist in the management and coordination of the Bank’s social media and digital marketing activities, where applicable.
- Liaise with internal departments, external agencies, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of marketing activities.
- Assist with the Bank’s branding and visibility initiatives, ensuring compliance with approved corporate identity guidelines.
- Monitor marketing campaigns and prepare reports on their effectiveness and outcomes.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
- Assist in managing marketing budgets, quotations, purchase requests and related administrative activities.
- Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain proper records of marketing, CSR, sponsorship and event-related activities.
- Perform any other marketing and communication-related duties assigned by Management.
PREREQUISITES:
- A Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Public Relations or a related field.
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, events, CSR or a related field will be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging marketing ideas and content.
SKILLS:
- Good organisational and project coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing platforms will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
