Lets Go Maldives is a leading luxury travel and tourism company, connecting clients worldwide with the Maldives’ most exclusive resorts and experiences. We are expanding and looking for a dynamic Sales&Reservatons Officer to join our team remotely in the Mauritius.
Location Requirement: Candidates must be currently residing in the Mauritius. This is a remote position based in Mauritius.
The Role
As a Sales&Reservation Officer, you will serve as a key point of contact for travel agents, providing expert guidance and support throughout the booking and reservation process. You will be responsible for managing complex travel arrangements, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring seamless service delivery from inquiry to guest arrival.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with travel agents to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate hotels, transportation and accommodation options
- Maintain long-term professional relationships with agents through reliable service and expert consultation
- Respond promptly to inquiries with accurate cost quotations and alternative solutions when requested services are unavailable
- Maintain comprehensive reservation records and confirm all services are in place before client arrival
- Process payments and ensure timely collection in accordance with booking agreements
- Address travel-related issues and complaints professionally, escalating concerns to management when necessary
- Provide support to agents via corporate mobile phone and email
- Generate pro forma invoices and monitor payment deadlines
- Input and maintain accurate data within the booking system
- Inform partners of special offers and provide consultation on hotel services and amenities
- Maintain effective working relationships with hotel reservations and sales departments
- Conduct daily quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of all reservations
- Participate in team meetings and meetings with hotel representatives
- Contribute to achievement of company sales targets
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
About You
Essential Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tourism or related field
- Minimum 3 years in the travel/tourism industry
- Track record managing 20–30 bookings daily
- Hands-on experience with multiple booking systems
- Proven booking and selling expertise

- Excellent Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken) with the ability to build warm, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Composure Under Pressure: Demonstrates emotional stability and resilience in fast-paced, high-volume environments, maintaining composure and effectiveness during peak periods
- Problem-Solving Ability: Identifies challenges, evaluates solutions objectively, and implements approaches that benefit all parties involved
- Negotiation Skills: Applies collaborative strategies to reach mutually beneficial agreements with agents and partners
- Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy in data entry, contract reviews, and reservation records; proactively identifies and corrects errors
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite, Zoom, Skype, and multiple booking systems
- Analytical Capability: Experience with resort contract analysis and market assessment to provide strategic recommendations for business improvement
