Farm Site Officer

Main Duties

• Assist in the organisation of farm activities within set timeframes.
• Support the efficient use of resources.
• Ensure proper poultry husbandry techniques are applied.
• Perform daily farm inspections.
• Assist in the proper monitoring of stock.
• Support the proper maintenance of equipment and buildings.
• Assist in maintaining the information system up to date.
• Prepare reports as and when required by management.
• Ensure that farm activities comply with government regulations, company standards, the ISO 22000 system, and health and safety standards.
• Ensure that biosecurity measures are strictly adhered to.
• Promote good animal welfare practices.
• Participate in the on-site training of new recruits.

Profile

• Good leadership, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office conversant
• Passion for Agriculture
• Knowledge of poultry husbandry, biosecurity, and animal welfare practices.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment
