Job Profile

We are looking for a dynamic Junior Engineer to provide technical knowledge to develop projects engaged in the Automation department.  The Junior Engineer will conduct research to help determine project needs, industry standards and other relevant data.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution and management of automation and engineering projects.
  • Carry out site installations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and control panel layouts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related faults.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, quality control, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
  • Industrial Automation Systems.
  • Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and Motor Control Systems.
  • Electrical installation /commissioning and electrical fault finding / troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organised, meticulous and able to work under pressure.
  • Good written & oral communication skills in English & French.
