A key part of the position will be recruiting, managing, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will establish clear objectives and KPIs, build a strong sales culture and ensure effective collaboration across all commercial channels.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role. He/She will regularly visit key clients and prospects, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices, supermarkets and retail partners.

Responsible for strengthening relationships, identifying new opportunities, supporting major negotiations and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Accompany and coach the sales team during client visits when required.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the company’s commercial strategy
  • Identifying new markets and business opportunities
  • Managing strategic and key accounts
  • Negotiating major commercial agreements
  • Monitoring sales performance and ensuring targets are achieved
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to support the company’s long-term growth

We are looking for a natural leader with strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proven experience in managing sales teams. An existing network within the Mauritian hospitality industry would be highly valuable. Experience in hospitality, FMCG or the coffee industry would be a strong advantage.
