Job Description
Ready to move beyond HR administration and take real ownership of the employee experience?
We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our People & Culture team.
This role is for someone who already has solid HR foundations and is ready for the next step: independently managing key People processes, contributing ideas, improving how we work and taking ownership of projects that directly impact our employees.
You won't simply be asked to execute. We are looking for someone who is curious enough to ask “Can we do this better?” and proactive enough to help make it happen.
Your Role
As our People Operations Coordinator, you will play an important role throughout the employee lifecycle, while contributing to a reliable, engaging and people-focused workplace.
You will:
- Independently coordinate key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, probation, employee changes and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and HRIS data.
- Prepare and control payroll inputs, leave administration and employee benefits.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, from vacancy launch and candidate management to initial screening and interview coordination.
- Support managers with onboarding plans and follow up on probation, performance reviews and development actions.
- Coordinate training and development activities and maintain related records.
- Produce People reports, monitor HR indicators and identify anomalies or recurring trends.
- Handle day-to-day employee queries with professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgement.
- Contribute to and progressively own projects focused on employee experience, engagement, wellbeing and company culture.
- Gather employee feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the employee journey.
- Support Culture & Welfare initiatives, helping turn ideas into structured and impactful actions.
- Challenge inefficient processes, propose solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our People practices.
Who We're Looking For
We'd love to meet someone who is:
- Structured, reliable and detail-oriented, while remaining curious and comfortable questioning how things are done.
- Able to build trust with employees and managers, communicate confidently and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Solution-oriented, able to escalate a problem while also bringing possible solutions or recommendations.
- Autonomous and a quick learner, comfortable taking ownership with limited supervision.
- Proactive and improvement-driven, with the instinct to identify opportunities rather than simply wait for instructions.
- People-oriented and approachable, while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality and good judgement.
What You'll Bring
Ideally, you have:
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Approximately 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated autonomy in your responsibilities.
- Practical experience across HR operations, employee administration, recruitment, payroll preparation/control and employee lifecycle management.
- Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and an ability to work confidently with HR data and reporting.
- Familiarity with HRIS would be a plus.
- Good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience recruiting IT or technical profiles would be a plus.
- Familiarity with Canva, Notion and Learning Management Systems (LMS), or similar communication, knowledge-management and learning platforms, would be an advantage.
More than the number of years on your CV, we are looking for someone who has developed enough HR experience to work independently, while remaining eager to learn, grow and progressively take on broader People & Culture responsibilities.
What We Offer ✨
We want our own employee experience to reflect the People & Culture environment we aim to create. You can expect:
- Attractive salary package
- 35-hour working week
- Annual performance & salary review
- Work-from-home opportunities
- Flexible working hours
- Clear career growth opportunities
- Individual training & development plans
- Medical insurance & private pension schemes
- Free daily lunch, freshly prepared by our company's private Chef
- Regular team gatherings, events & team-building activities
Why Join Us?
This isn't a role where People & Culture sits quietly in the background processing paperwork.
You'll work across both the operational foundations and the employee experience, contribute to new People initiatives and progressively take ownership of projects that shape how employees experience the company.
You'll also be joining us at a moment where our People & Culture approach is evolving, giving you the opportunity to build, improve, challenge existing ways of working and leave your own mark on how we do things.
If you're looking for your next step in HR and want an environment where you can grow, take ownership, contribute ideas and genuinely influence the employee experience, we'd love to hear from you.
