Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Place orders for all shops to ensure product availability as per the commercial Masterfile while maintaining the required stock levels.
- Follow the ordering and delivery schedule to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Place orders during the promotional purchase period to optimize windfall gains.
- Follow up on group orders to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.
- Demonstrate the ability to buy products intelligently to maximize margin percentages.
- Communicate with Chef De Rayon for status of products to ensure status is updated on system
- Communicate with commercial team for product status
Qualifications & Experience:
- Form 4 or any other equivalent qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience
- IT Literate with a good understanding of ERP software as an advantage
- Experience in the retail sector will constitute an advantage
Other Requisites:
- Ensure accuracy in ordering
- Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and develop staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, customers, and management
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Prepared to work on Saturdays as well as odd hours
