We are looking for a Hardware Sales & Store Assistant for our SURINAM branch

Responsibilities:

• Have good knowledge of all products and their uses.

•⁠ ⁠Identify products and advise clients according to their needs.

•⁠ ⁠Provide excellent customer service and create a friendly shopping experience.

•⁠ ⁠Actively promote products and encourage customers to purchase more.

•⁠ ⁠Good communication skills, friendly and energetic personality.

•⁠ ⁠Handle sales and assist customers throughout the buying process.

•⁠ ⁠Check deliveries made to clients and ensure trucks are properly loaded.

•⁠ ⁠Receive deliveries from suppliers and check quantities and products carefully.

•⁠ ⁠Keep the shop/store neat, organised and ensure all products are properly placed.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor stock levels and liaise with the Purchasing Officer when products are running low.

•⁠ ⁠Be polyvalent and assist wherever needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the same field is a plus
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good team spirit, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking abilities.

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practice
• Drivers license is compulsory
