Role Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own the quality of our web platforms, mobile applications and business systems before they reach our clients. You will design and execute structured manual tests across the full delivery cycle — from reviewing requirements to validating releases — making sure that what we ship works reliably, end to end, in real conditions.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role in a fast-moving environment. You will work closely with developers, project managers and support teams, and your findings will directly shape release decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•    Review requirements, specifications and user stories; flag gaps, ambiguities and edge cases early.

•    Design, write and maintain clear test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test data for new features and releases.

•    Execute manual functional, regression, smoke, integration and exploratory testing across web, mobile and ERP applications.

•    Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing (desktop, Android, iOS) to ensure consistent behaviour and usability.

•    Log defects with clear, reproducible steps and supporting evidence in the issue tracker; prioritise, retest and track them through to closure.

•    Validate bug fixes and change requests before deployment, and verify releases after go-live.

•    Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist client-facing teams during releases.

•    Maintain QA documentation: test reports, release checklists, known-issue lists and testing procedures.

•    Report on test progress, coverage and release readiness to the technical team and management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

•    Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in manual software testing / QA roles.

•    Solid understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and where testing fits in the development cycle, including Agile/Scrum ways of working.

•    Proven experience writing structured test plans, test cases and defect reports.

•    Experience testing web and mobile applications, with solid cross-browser and cross-device coverage.

•    Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, ClickUp or equivalent).

•    A structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting, with the ability to isolate a problem and describe it precisely.

•    Good written and spoken English; French is a strong asset.

•    Diploma or degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

•    ISTQB Foundation (or similar) certification.

•    Basic SQL for data verification, and exposure to API testing tools (e.g. Postman).

•    Exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) — not required for this role.

•    Experience testing ERP or other business-critical systems used by multiple clients.

•    Awareness of performance, security or usability testing concepts.

•    Prior experience in high-pace product or consulting teams.
