Key Responsibilities

• Perform general production, bottling and packaging activities as assigned.
• Carry out palletisation of cartons, crates and bottles, including stacking, unstacking and stretch wrapping.
• Fetch, load, close and unload crates, linerboard and carton boxes.
• Feed and operate production equipment, including box delivery and conveyor washing machines.
• Assemble and verify carton and linerboard boxes.
• Prepare, wash, dry and inspect bottles to ensure cleanliness and readiness for production.
• Perform bottle and packaging activities, including labelling, capping/corking, closures and accessories placement.
• Position and verify tax, date and excise stamps.
• Inspect bottles, boxes, barcodes and product information to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Conduct quality checks when assigned, including:
• Verifying bottles from each production batch at regular intervals.
• Measuring bottle contents and calculating excess using a measuring cylinder.
• Measuring the weight of bottles.
• Verifying bottles from pallets produced.
• Report any production inconsistencies, quality issues or abnormalities to the Operator or relevant supervisor.
• Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance activities to maintain a clean, safe and tidy work environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensure accurate daily attendance by clocking in and out.
• Inform the reporting supervisor of sick leave, local leave or vacation leave.
• Perform any other production-related duties as requested by the Assistant Supervisors, Line Controllers, Production Manager or Assistant Manager (Production).
