Job Description
The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering professional spa treatments and wellness services to guests while ensuring the highest standards of customer care, hygiene, and service excellence. The role involves performing massages, body treatments, facials, and other spa services, as well as promoting spa products and maintaining treatment rooms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & MISSIONS
- Welcome guests warmly and conduct consultations to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide professional spa treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, body wraps, and other wellness therapies.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment experience.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Recommend suitable treatments and wellness programs based on guest needs.
- Promote and sell spa products and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Support spa promotions and special offers to achieve revenue targets.
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of spa products and equipment.
- Adhere to hotel and spa policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Report any equipment faults, maintenance issues, or safety concerns.
QUALIFICATION
- Certificate or Diploma in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related field.
- Valid professional therapist license or certification where required.
- Previous experience in a hotel spa, wellness center, resort, or luxury spa is preferred.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques, body treatments, and skincare therapies.
