Reporting to the Room Service Manager,the job incumbent is primarily to work under the operational supervision of the room service manager and technical guidance of the Dietitian. In his/her, duty the Diet order taker’s main role is to take patient and visitor food orders in a timely manner and in accordance to prescribed diets. Additional duties will include but not limited to answering to phone in requests, controlling and coordinating with the kitchen and room service attendants prior to food delivery.

Experience

Experience in similar filed is desirable. Alternatively, on the job training for the position necessary prior to carrying out the role.

- Sound communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

Attentive and patient with customers. (Highly customer oriented).
