We are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and dedicated Integrated Science Teacher to teach students from Year 7 to Year 11. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in delivering science lessons. They should be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster curiosity, and support students' academic and personal development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver lessons with clear objectives and assessments.
• Set challenging tasks to maintain interest and build on prior attainment.
• Cater to individual student needs and maintain lesson structure, pace and motivation.
• Use diverse teaching methods, including questioning, resource selection and study skill development.
• Ensure effective use of time, assessments and school policies on discipline, behaviour and homework.
• Contribute to curriculum development with clear targets and success criteria.
• Act as class tutor, supporting the progress and well-being of students.
• Register attendance, encourage participation and address individual student concerns.
• Prepare reports and action plans and communicate with staff about student needs.
• To support break and lunch supervision during term time

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area or B.Ed.
• Post Graduate Certificate of Education or a certificate of equivalence.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching integrated science
• Experience in using ICT to enhance teaching and learning.
• Ability to set clear expectations and stretch goals.
• A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area.
• Ability to judge learning effectiveness.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset.
• Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in IGCSE & SC
• Previous experience in an international school setting
