We are currently seeking an Accountant to contribute to the efficient operations of Life Medical Clinic Bon Pasteur.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution development of the strategy of the Company and in maintaining the good relationship it implies with business partners, namely IBL Group companies and Life Together business leaders.
• Participate in the successful implementation of the strategy of the Company namely by preparing strategic analysis as and when required by Management.
• Coordinate internal and external audit assignments and liaise with banks with respect to annual review requirements.
• Assist in the coordination between the Finance and Accounts Departments and the other departments of the Company.
• Monitor and coach the Finance and Administrative Officer and any other human resources assigned falling under your responsibility.
• Participate in the project management of key solutions.  
• Prepare all financial reporting within deadlines namely:
• Monthly financial and operations dashboards.
• Management accounts and Group Reporting Packs.
• Yearly budgets and board reporting.
• Any regular reporting to local authorities.
• And any other related documents/ reports as and when required from the Management and IBL Head Office. 

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Management & Finance, or relevant professional accounting qualification
• ACCA level 2 at least
• Proven post-qualification experience as Accountant, Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Excellent accounting reporting and financial analysis skills
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Netsuite and Sage.
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail with sound judgement
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements and generating management accounts
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priorities
• Excellent inter-personal skills conducive to working in a small office environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and organisational skills in French and English
