Key Duties

• Plan and balance production lines
• Identify and implement best practices 
• Ensure quality control are being followed
• Provide training to operators
• Attend production and pre-production meeting and discuss yesterday’s results and today’s targets and plans.
• Follow up and minimise on low output operators
• Material utilisation
• Ensure operators are disciplined
• Bundle handling and movement
• SAM estimate of Samples
• Prepare reports
• Make recommendations on how to increase efficiency and improve quality
• Anticipate problems and provide solutions
• Ensure machines are up to standard
• Adhere to health and safety procedures
• House keeping

Experience / Skills

• Professional engineering degree or certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English/French)
• Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
