Providentia Asset Managers Ltd - Our Sister Company is hiring a Junior Investment Analyst
Main Duties:
· Conduct macroeconomic, sector and company research to support investment decisions;
· Perform financial statement analysis, valuation and investment due diligence on companies and investment opportunities;
· Support Fund Manager in:
-Trade execution and monitoring of investment orders.
-Portfolio construction, monitoring and performance analysis.
-Asset allocation reviews and portfolio rebalancing.
-Investment research across equities, fixed income, ETFs and alternative investments.
· Prepare periodic portfolio performance reports and investment commentaries;
· Assist with the preparation and coordination of Investment Committee packs, presentations and minutes;
· Monitor financial markets, economic developments and corporate announcements, highlighting key investment implications;
· Support the onboarding of new clients while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements;
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring client files comply with internal compliance standards, and conduct periodic client file reviews;
· Contribute to the preparation of marketing content, fund factsheets and investment publications;
· Perform data analysis and maintain investment databases, spreadsheets and reporting tools;
· Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as required by the reporting line.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, and/or Mathematics);
· Studying for the CFA exams would be a plus;
· At least 1 year of relevant investment-related work experience;
· Intellectual curiosity with an interest in developing a career in asset management;
· Strong work ethic, independent problem-solving capabilities, effective communication;
· Hardworking, analytical, detailed minded, self-motivated and results oriented;
· Good skills in Excel and PowerPoint;
· Ability to work well in a small, collaborative team, while also communicating and interacting with a larger group of investors;
· Good command of written and spoken English and French.
