Associate Business Consultant – Quality

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Quality Assurance team in testing software applications and ensuring compliance with defined quality standards. The role supports the identification of defects and contributes to the delivery of reliable and high-quality solutions across projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Assist in understanding project requirements and User stories by supporting senior team members in engaging with customer stakeholders and help create test scenarios and test cases.

•        Support key quality activities such as manual/automated test cases creation, test requirements traceability and defect logging for small and low-complexity projects.

•        Execute functional and regression test cases as assigned and accurately record and report test results.

•        Support the identification of potential quality issues per defined process and escalate findings to senior team members.

•        Document test results, defects, supporting evidence, and testing progress accurately using the defined tools and processes.

•        Work closely with the project team to log and follow up on system and product issues.

•        Undergo on-the-job training and coaching to build proficiency in QA tools, methods, processes and test automation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•        A degree in ICT or a related field,

•        Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing;

•        Exposure to testing tools would be an advantage.

•        Willingness to learn QA methods, processes and test automation.
