Main responsibilities:

·       Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;

·       Prepare and analyse costings for tenders;

·       Preparing and action bulk orders, purchase orders;

·       Measurement of Quantities

·       Allocate work to Sub-Contractors

·       Prepare procurement and quotation analysis;

·       Cost control and wastage monitoring;

·       Measure, value, submit and negotiate Variations of works done at site;

·       Cash flow preparation and perpetual update;

·       Applications for payment in regards to conditions of contract;

·       Requesting and checking of advance payment and performance bonds;

·       Cost reporting and forecasting;

·       Final account agreement and sign off;

·       Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractors;

·       Site Meetings ;

·       Understand the implications of health and safety regulations

 

Qualification:

·       BSC (Hons) Quantity Surveying or equivalent

·       Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction sector for Quantity / Construction surveyor

 

Candidate Profile:

·       Proficient in Word, Excel, Auto Cad and other IT/tender applications.

·       Reliable, honest and trustworthy.
