Job Description

TotalEnergies Mobility Services International Ltd (TEMSI) is a tech subsidiary of the TotalEnergies company based in Mauritius. We are approximately 100 employees thriving to innovate, develop and maintain the Company's software solutions. More specifically, we work closely with various Marketing & Services subsidiaries to develop Mobility oriented solutions.

 

The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritising product features in alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and the overall product vision. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams, the PO gathers and translates requirements, designs and defines product solutions that effectively address business needs while remaining consistent with the product strategy, capabilities, and user experience. The PO manages and refines the product backlog, contributes to the product roadmap, provides clear direction and priorities to cross-functional teams, makes product decisions and trade-offs.

 

Product Backlog Management

→         Define and prioritize the product feature backlog in coordination with key stakeholders (SDM, Business).

→         Analyse business requests to provide accurate workload estimates and assess feasibility.

→         Continuously refine the product backlog based on evolving business and market needs.

 

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams

→         Work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of product features that meet business needs and technical requirements.

→         Collaborate with the UX Lead to ensure the product adheres to design and user experience standards.

→         Ensure proper communication and alignment between different teams involved in the product’s development.

 

Product Development

→         Draft clear, detailed, and actionable user stories (US) for the development team.

→         Monitor product progress at each iteration and make necessary adjustments.

→         Conduct market analysis and integrate client feedback into product development decisions.

 

Stakeholder Management

→         Maintain open and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with user needs and business objectives.

→         Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on product development progress.

 

Road Map development

→         Collaborate with the Project Coordinators to align the product roadmap with operational goals.

→         Ensure that all product features and processes are properly documented for future reference.

→         Research market trends and user feedback to make informed decisions about new features and improvements.

 

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

→         Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent

→         2 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the field of electronic banking.

→         Strong understanding of product development life cycles.

→         Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken – French & English.

→         Good interpersonal skills and strong team spirit.

→         Proactive and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
