Liquid Intelligent Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and financial control activities across a portfolio of entities within the Shared Services environment. This role is responsible for assisting with month-end close processes, accounts payable and receivable, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, audit support, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintaining compliance with Group policies and financial controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional studies will be an advantage
• 1-3 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using accounting or ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience would be an advantage)
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Fluency in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills
