Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll impacting changes, payment, and payroll processing for assigned clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle are processed, reconciled, audited, and transmitted accurately and timely for all assigned clients.
  • Proactively review and process all new requests from clients whilst understanding any specific exceptions or requirements for the latter.
  • Work with cross- functional external partners to resolve client payroll matters and employee enquires.
  • Ensure invoicing instructions are sent to the Invoicing team and follow up on the deliverable.
  • Calculate, Build and Communicate payroll reports, payslips, and invoices to clients within the agreed time frame.
  • Review the payslips and payroll reports of In-Country Partners for submission and ensure inhouse payroll database is updated and reconciled with the same amounts.
  • Actively follow up with the In-Country Partners to confirm that the workers are / have been paid on time.
  • Keeping up to date with the assigned country legislation.
  • Handling and maintaining the portfolio of existing clients on AHR database.
  • Handling/resolving payroll related queries.
 
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Requirements 
  • HSC Holder or Higher Education.
  • Having experience in payroll outsourcing and a customer-facing environment will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Understanding of common payroll practices, analytical and Reporting Skills.
  • Familiar with using payroll software.
  • Africa exposure would be beneficial to this position.
  • Can work under pressure.
  • Adapt to a dynamic/ever-changing environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible/additional hours.
