Reporting to the Safety, Health & Environment Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety & health policies and procedures
• Organise regular safety & health committees as per legal provisions
• Implement appropriate safety & health training programmes
• Carry out regular occupational safety & health audits and conduct relevant risk assessments
• Organise appropriate occupational safety & health programmes
• Conduct safety induction training for all new recruits
• Inspect regularly all places and sites of work and record findings
• Recommend corrective actions for non-compliance
• Investigate occupational accidents and submit reports with remedial actions

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or any equivalent qualification
• 2 years of proven working experience
• Fully conversant with IT software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc)
• Holder of a valid & clean driving license

 

Other Requisites:

• Fully conversant with safety, health and environmental legislation
• Familiar with ISO standards
• Experience in dealing with expatriate labour
• Hindi speaking would be an advantage
